HaloConversion

Cosmology-dependent conversions of halo masses and concentrations between overdensities

This webpage allows to use the cosmology-dependent mass-concentration (Mc) and mass-mass (MM) relations from Magneticum hydrodynamic simulations conversion relations presented in Ragagnin et al. (2021).

Here below you can insert cosmological parameters ( Ωm, Ωb, σ8, h0 ), redshift, and a halo mass at a given overdensity Δ1=vir, 200c, 500c, 2500c, or 200m. Once these parameters are specified, the webapp outputs the corresponding concentration parameter cΔ1. It is possible to also specify an overdensity Δ2 and to obtain the corresponding mass (MΔ2) and concentration parameter (cΔ2) values at overdensity Δ2.

The conversion routines used in this web-app are also available as a python package github.com/aragagnin/hydro_mc. We used Brython to open the access of our python library to this web-app. For question or additional information pabout this page please contact Antonio Ragagnin (antonio.ragagnin at inaf.it).
